It’s all coming back!!!

March 10th, 2006 by heidi-osh

Yay, the Bahrain GP 2006 starts now, the first GP weekend of the year. The F1 fever is heating up all over me now.

That is bringing passion, sensation, and the hungry for glory heart back!

It does me good to have those weekends back. I can’t help, but to cheer for that. Huree, huree, huree!!!

Browsing through all the grand prix pictures on the net now, it’s all good to see them ‘back on track’. I have always love the Thursday and Friday pictures which I get to see what’s up with all the grand prix people while they are behind the pits wall.

Quoting Fernando, "It was nice to get back to the emotion of races, to check the lap-times and to be back in the competition!"

Yes, competition.

When there’s competition, only then a Champion could be born. And that is the best thing about competition.

People, The Lion King is back! Let’s CHEERSSS!!!

We are wiser than that, aren’t we?

Actorlympics–the so-call Malaysian version of ‘Whose line is it anyway?’

I went for the show last Saturday. The bonus was—Jit Murad happened to be in the show as well. I did not expect him to be there since I did not see him appear in the poster of the show. Ah, he’s cool!!!

But, the show turned out to be quite a disappointment, really.

It actually had bored me with lamb jokes. I concluded that their jokes were surrounded by three topics: Gay, Sex, and one or two same old politic figures. They were supposed to be among the best comedians in town, and yet they tell jokes about stuff that can be heard from any playful, mischievous and teasing high school boys (I think). Do the audience laughed because it came out from the famous in stead of the infamous young ‘men’ in high schools?

Hey, they can do much better than that. I mean those topics are not the best to make joke of or the funniest stuff. Moreover, the audience, us, are wiser than those lamb (or cheap) jokes. They should have created something funny out of our everyday life business (just like F.R.I.E.N.D.S. did). You got what I mean? Cute and funny!!!

Plus point–Less Is More. Too much physical funny acts is not appealing. After all, words make the funniest jokes!

Work kills (my) time?

February 8th, 2006 by heidi-osh

I miss those ‘need-not-work’ days that I had, which were so free, free. Those days that I could hang out with all the time I have in the world at the bookstores, browse through the latest fashion and gossip magazine for free, er sometimes F1 mag, of course, and sometime-s TIME mag. =>

One other thing that I miss most was the time that I have, to hang out at (the not-so-busy) Starbucks outlets, or maybe the Coffee Bean at Mont Kiara (best CB&TL location I tell ya). I usually choose a quite corner, and then pamper myself with a cup of black coffee, and a book (or a mag) in hands. To top it with, a piece of cheesecake would be perfect! If I were not reading, but just sit there and watch the world go would be considered as blissful. Spend an hour or two all by myself-and DREAMING- and I miss it.

The best thing about working is to have a hint of being financially-free. Quoted Robert Kiyosaki—one will never be free until one-self had achieved financial freedom, which is awfully true. Hm, with the wages I had got, I had been acting a bit of Carrie Bradshaw for the past one month or so—Buying shoes!!! *sex&theCitySickness*

I had bought four brand new pairs of nice shoes, I mean NICE! =) Too nice to say no!!! (I have not told my mom about that, and not quite planning to do so) Okie, I know that’s bad… and I had already told myself when I bought the forth pair that that would be the last, at least half a year from now. LOL.

I do enjoy my current job. But, the thing is I wish to have more personal time for myself at the same time. I just couldn’t seem to have enough of it nowadays.

DEAR ‘I DONNO YOUR NAME’

January 6th, 2006 by heidi-osh

Mr. Alonso has a girlfriend.

Who would give a shit? Oh baby, I do.

Worry-me-not, my heart is still in one piece.

Until this moment, I thought I would go hair-wired to find out “El_chico_que_quiero_a_casar” has a girlfriend!!!

It’s official, someone has stolen my heart away from Fernando.

The thing is I’m not sure he’s aware of that.

I scream for F1

December 23rd, 2005 by heidi-osh

Ah, it’s barely 2006, but I am already looking forward to the new season of F1 racing! New rules, new teams (or rather, new titles of the old teams where they had switched partners: sponsors, engines, etc. Too many to remember for my little head ;> ) What-so-ever, there will be four ‘new’ teams next year!), new qualifying rules… ugh, it’s all cool! Oh well, for better or worse? I can’t be quite sure about that, until the first race in Bahrainon March 12, 2006.

It’s cool that the TYRES RULE will be adjusted back to the old style–unlimited tyres changing rule! More drama to watch in the pit-stops, like the good old years! Poor mechanics, in 2005, where they didn’t have the chance to put their talent, and all the hard works behind scene (where they had zillion times of pit-stop practices every year), into play on the race days! Oh well, if you noticed, there were twelve men stand by for the four tyres during each pit-stop! Yes, Stand-By only!!!

Most claimed that the qualifying rule in 2005 was the-most-boring ever. I thought it was not too bad, where each team and each driver had their turns to be in the lime light on Saturday for a change. Nevertheless, I did not quite fancy that rule too either. Not because it was boring, but it was rather scary!

The slightest mistakes in one single lap could cause a million for the driver! For that reason, it made me un-ease to watch- worrying for ma idol! Eh-le, Ha!! When the single round of qualifying came into play, cautiousness must be playing around in the mind of the drivers, and that would cause them to drive less to the limit, wouldn’t they?

Nonetheless, there is no old rule re-staging for the qualifying session in 2006. A total brand new idea came into play, new Qualifying Rule! Max Mosley said the new rule is going to cause chaos in the mind of the spectaculars. I’m not quite sure about that, it seems OK to understand it for now, and rather fun. But again have to wait until I witness the coming first race, to know whether I like it, or not. (FIA always claimed that rules changes, accordingly to the likeness of the fans, eh-le you believe in Max??)

And heya, Fernando will be leaving for Mclaren in 2007! He had turned the sky from red to beautiful BLUE in 2005! And now, he’s thinking of making it grey in 2007 (If only if you know what I mean! =D). I (for one), am all out for him no matter what colours he chooses. And I have always held huge respect for Mr. Ron Dennis! Ron is always cool.

So, will Fernando drive along with Juan or Kimi in 2007? Ron loves Kimi. But, there’s no way for two tigers to live in the same crave! Perhaps Jean Todt is already in-talk with the Finn. =) My guess is, the one who leaves McLaren next year, will take over Micheal in Ferrari. (Only if Michael plans to ‘call it a day’ lah. :>)

Ahh, I can hardly wait to scream for those familiar faces in the races!!!

I want a Merry Merry Chritmas!!!

December 20th, 2005 by heidi-osh

Of all the festive seasons among all races, culture and belief, there is one celebration that I very much wish that I could be part of it, but never quite been part of it–the celebration of the birth of Christ–Christmas!

I have mere knowledge concerning the story behind this celebration, and would not careless about it. It was the warmth of this celebration that intrigued me.

First of all, it was the cheerful colours that paint the town happy, then the songs that cheers up the atmosphere, followed by the process of picking up present for the loved ones, then came the food: turkey, fruit cakes, and cookies, and then most of all the gathering of family and friends, and again the present, to unwrap those presents received from our loved ones. Awww… I really wish to be part of it.

And hey, of course snowing would be wonderful to beautify the whole thing, where one could experience the warmth at heart was greater the icy cold weather. Awww…

I had been to Christmas parties, but never quite felt to be in it, because I think I had ‘Christmas’ just as long as the party last, within that sheer few hours!

The happiness lies in the preparation, and the involvements.

It is the process that counts.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Metrosexual? Or just gay??

November 10th, 2005 by heidi-osh

Um-Hmm, to keep up with the urban lifestyle or heya desperate for cun body…after all those dieting secrets that comfort me just as long as I ‘control’ my craving for hmm… nasi briayni, banana leave, blue berry cheese cake from Alexis, nachos from Chili’s, ma favourite ‘ban min’ in Bangsar, and bankay lagi (It thrills me now to name them all) … I turned to GYM. Hm, peer pressure that caused me a few hundred bucks every month!!! %D

So and so, when you come to a new environment, you see new things. I saw new things too lah, in the gym—‘suspected’ gays. *wink*.*wink*.

Hey, these days you can’t affirm a guy with mascara is gay right? They are just metrosexual. *laugh*. *laugh*. Go check out the latest TIME mag, it has issue regarding these urban-men who does more than just shaving every morning, but they spend extra time on moisturizing, spend extra bucks on mask, toner and more, and they are straight. Hmm they claimed that girls like it!!

Ladies, would you mind? A metrosexual man? %D

Eh what would it be like lah? If ‘he’ spend more time looking into the mirror than looking at you??? That will be miserable right?!?!

Until, I noticed this GUY: muscular and gorgeous, most of all vain. G.O.S.H.

Errr I’m starting to wonder whether he’s straight, or not. I can’t tell, part of him is so masculine, and part of him is er queer-ish!!!

For that, I have no clue, no clue.

I wish he is purely metrosexual, and it ends there. =D

Bull-shit NEVER

August 24th, 2005 by heidi-osh

“If I were to buy new watch, it will never be a GUESS? It’s not even a watch brand!

I have not been wearing a watch since I spoilt my second piece of Swatch and that was like three years backed. I had gotten used to not wearing one, I carry a mobile with me anyway.

Eh, Mobile could by no means replace a watch!

Try it people (for those who say I have a cell phone), get a new watch, you will find it hard not to see eye to eye with me.

On a regular Sunday morning, after breakfast with my sis at Austin in BSC, we went jalan-jalan. With no particular direction heading to, we went in a watch shop. Actually I wanted to window-peep at a SANDUZ, a brand that is carry by my idolo!

There was this brown leather strip GUESS that caught my eyes. Okie, just one try.

%-)

The moment I put it on, I fell in love for it. Sheesh MAN!

After a few sleepless nights, thinking of the my-financial-forbid watch, I brought it back home with me one week later.

It’s been two weeks now; I’m still very much in love with it.

“Eh-lah, not even a watch brand?!”

Ahah, don’t say NEVER man!!!

Hmm, I will never marry the F guy!?!?!?

Oops, TABOO!!!

Cannot say like that, I’m rather superstitious! Ya man %D

Heidi? Heidi who?

August 24th, 2005 by heidi-osh

Just a few hours ago, there’s this big boss from the States came over to my office. Everybody said hello. Then, came to my turn.

“Hmm, HEIDI? Where did you get that name?”

Oh man, I was stoned for a few sec. “It’s from a friend…”

“A long story huh?”

Sheesh! Ya man, long story! I wasn’t sure, was it me, or was it my nick that drawn his attention, but anyway he did ask me a few extra questions. Hehe…

OK, this was not the only scenario I came across over my pet name man, ever since I call myself Heidi.

Say last night, there was this trainer I met in the gym. Gosh, his name was, (ahem) Boy. And yet, he thought my name (ok, for a typical budak Malaysia) was no less extraordinary than his name. He asked me was I from Germany or something!!! Was him from MARS? Ahah, I didn’t ask lah, in order save his face.

More of this to come?

Stressful. Ya man!

August 6th, 2005 by heidi-osh

There are people out there thinks that you must occupied with works 24-7 at work. As if that is the only way to show that, you are actually ‘working’. Yet, they thought they are the only busy people in the world. When they ask you to do something, they will come back to check up with your progress after an hour?! Eh, no need time to do one ar? STRESSFUL!!! Those are the people sucks at managing skill, they will go nowhere in the corporate world of the 21 century, I tell ya!

I hate those people who will raise their voice at you, then later, they apologize. That sucks man. What are those apologies suppose to mean? It was like slapping at your face, and then offers you Nestle Drumstick. Come on, by that time you are already on FIRE, and they expect their *** helps.

I now know the reason why those people keep f**king everything in the office. That is the word to use lah in order to release tension. Ya man, stressful!

(Su Yin, lend me these words if you see this! ;>)

I’m not sure is the company that I’m with now giving me the wrong impression of PR status. Those PR associates give you nothing but cocky faces. (I ain’t owe you a damn thing, women!). There are so much works to do. In addition, pay is not much. Damn. With those few pennies, how am I going to afford Abercrombie lah? What about my dream black horse? (X5 dear!)

What-so-ever, I will stick to my dream.

My dream is bigger than just anything I’m seeing now.
